Indications: For fast relief of migraine attacks. Special Notes: The drug should not be used as a prophylactic measure Dosage: Tablets: The drug is recommended as soon as possible after the onset of a migraine attack. The recommended dose for adults at intake - 100 mg. The maximum daily dose of 300 mg. Tablets should be swallowed whole with water. Injections: It is recommended to start treatment in the event of the first signs of a headache, or "aura" - nausea, vomiting, and photophobia. Injections should be administered subcutaneously with autoinzhektora. Migraine recommended dose for adults - 6 mg as a single subcutaneous injection. In the case of a recurrence of symptoms, you can assign an additional 6 mg at any time within the next 24 hours, but no earlier than one hour after the first dose. The maximum tolerable daily intake - two injections of 6 mg (12 mg). Contraindications:
angina or myocardial infarction in the past;
abnormal liver function and kidney;
epilepsy;
advanced age (over 60);
hypersensitivity to the drug.
Side effects:
tingling and warmth;
dizziness and a feeling of weakness, drowsiness;
decrease in blood pressure, palpitations;
nausea and vomiting;
rash and itching.
